Theodore Bogdanos to Lecture

The Role of Art and Music in Orthodox Worship
The Patriarch Athenagoras Orthodox Institute is presenting an evening lecture by Theodore Bogdanos on "The Role of Art and Music in Orthodox Worship."

Theodore Bogdanos is a Professor Emeritus of English, European and Byzantine Literature at San Jose State University. He is a transcriber abd translator of Byzantine Chant. He is also a composer of Greek Orthodox liturgical music.

The lecture will take place on Friday, November 18, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at Ascension Cathedral at 4700 Lincoln Avenue, Oakland California.
